The International Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Science (IJMPS) is committed to maintaining high ethical standards in research involving human participants and animals. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their research complies with applicable institutional, national, and international ethical requirements.
Research involving human participants must comply with recognized ethical principles and applicable institutional and regulatory requirements. Where required, authors must obtain approval from an appropriate Research Ethics Committee, Institutional Review Board (IRB), or equivalent ethics body before commencing the study.
The manuscript should include the name of the approving ethics committee, approval/reference number where available, and relevant approval details.
Appropriate informed consent must be obtained from human participants where required. For case reports or identifiable patient information, authors must obtain appropriate written consent for publication.
Personal identifying information should not be published unless essential and appropriately consented to.
Research involving animals must comply with applicable institutional and national regulations governing the ethical treatment and welfare of laboratory animals. Authors should provide details of the relevant animal ethics approval where applicable.
Clinical trials should be registered in an appropriate publicly accessible clinical trial registry where registration is required or applicable. Authors should provide the registration number in the manuscript.
The journal may request documentation of ethical approval or informed consent during editorial evaluation. Manuscripts that do not adequately demonstrate compliance with applicable ethical requirements may be returned for clarification or rejected.
Authors remain responsible for the ethical conduct of their research and for providing accurate information regarding ethical approval, consent, and participant or animal welfare.
