A manuscript submitted to the IASR Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Science (IJMPS) is considered for publication on the understanding that it has not been previously published, accepted, or simultaneously submitted elsewhere. Upon submission, each manuscript is acknowledged and assigned a unique manuscript number. The subject editor conducts an initial evaluation to assess suitability for formal peer review. Manuscripts exhibiting plagiarism, serious scientific or technical errors, lack of significant contribution, or falling outside the scope of the journal are rejected at this stage.
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent for review to two or more independent experts, selected at the discretion of the editor. IJMPS strictly follows a double-blind review process, ensuring that the identities of authors and reviewers remain confidential. The editorial board makes the final decision on publication after considering reviewers’ recommendations. Authors are notified of the decision, which may include acceptance, revision, or rejection. In cases requiring minor or major revisions, the corresponding author is expected to provide a detailed response addressing each reviewer comment and submit a revised version of the manuscript.
A manuscript is accepted for publication only when both editors and reviewers are satisfied with the revisions. Accepted articles undergo professional copyediting for grammar, punctuation, formatting, and adherence to journal style. Page proofs are provided to the corresponding author for verification, and any corrections must be returned promptly. The corresponding author, or a designated co-author, serves as the primary contact with the editorial office throughout the submission and review process and represents all co-authors in communications.
This policy ensures a transparent, rigorous, and ethical editorial process, upholding the highest standards of scholarly publishing.
