Background:Chronic Hepatitis B infection is a known precursor to liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC). Recurrent hepatic tumors pose significant physical and emotional challenges. This case explores the role of Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV) healing as a complementary intervention in a patient with recurrent liver tumors and cirrhosis.

Case Presentation:A 60-year-old male with lifelong Hepatitis B and cirrhosis developed hepatic tumors in April 2024, September 2024, and January 2025, each surgically removed via microwave ablation (MWA). Following the third recurrence, the patient experienced emotional distress and was introduced to YPV healing in April 2025. A Certified YPV and Level 5 healer initiated daily sessions, later joined by a Certified Senior YPV and Level 6 healer for intensive three-times-daily healing from May to July 2025. The protocol included YPV Level 5 and 6 techniques, blood and organ cleansing, psychotherapy, and environmental energy hygiene. The patient also practiced daily salt water baths, breathing exercises, forgiveness sadhana, and weekly Planetary Peace Meditation from YPV Sadhana App.

Outcomes:MRI and blood tests conducted on 29 July 2025 and again on 01 November 2025 showed no new tumor formation and normalized parameters. The patient reported improved energy, emotional stability, and resolution of minor ailments without medication.

Conclusion:This case suggests that YPV healing may offer valuable adjunctive support in managing chronic hepatic conditions, enhancing emotional resilience, and potentially contributing to tumor non-recurrence. Further clinical studies are warranted to explore its integrative potential in oncology and chronic disease care.

Context: Immediate placement of dental implants into fresh extraction sockets is indicated to be a predictable and successful procedure when proper protocols were followed but results from published studies are incon­clusive and unclear

Aims: To evaluate the efficacy of immediate implants placement in fresh extracted sockets with peri-apical lesions as compared to without peri-apical lesions

Settings and Design: This Prospective controlled trial was conducted in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of a Dental College and Research Institute in North-India

Methods and Material: The study consists of Control-Group with 12 extraction socket without peri-apical infection and study-Group with 12 extraction sockets with peri-apical infection for immediate implant placement. Implant Stability Quotient (ISQ) and Labial bone thickness at baseline and at 4 months were assessed.

Statistical analysis: Independent sample t-test and paired t-test were used to test for association taking a p-value <0.05 as level of significance.

Results: The two groups were comparable by gender and age. The Implant survival rate at 4 months of follow-up was found to be 100% in both groups. The mean(SD) ISQ at the baseline increased significantly at 4 months in both groups and was found to be statistically significant(p<0.001).A statistically significant gain in Labial bone thickness from the baseline was detected in the control group (0.958±0.320mm) and study group (1.025±0.133mm)(p<0.001) but no significant difference was detected between the two groups (p=0.688).

Conclusions: Implant bone stability and Gain in Labial bone thickness at 4months was comparable and implant survival was 100% in both groups.

Background: COVID-19 vaccine emergency approvals were primarily based on immunogenicity studies in healthy individuals, with limited representation of immunocompromised populations such as people living with HIV. Since vaccine responses may differ in these groups, this cross-sectional observational study assessed IgG antibody responses to COVID-19 vaccines in HIV patients on antiretroviral therapy (ART).

Methods: The study was conducted from November 2021 to April 2022. Adult HIV patients on ART who had received two doses of COVISHIELD™ or COVAXIN™ within 8–24weeks were recruited. SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibodies were qualitatively assessed using a commercially available Microwell ELISA kit.

Results: Among the 42 enrolled subjects (mean age 42.17±9.04 years; 73.8% male), 35 received COVISHIELD™ and 7 received COVAXIN™. Most (90.5%) were on a tenofovir, lamivudine, and dolutegravir regimen. Only 4 participants had CD4 counts <300 cells/mm³. A majority (97.6%) showed a positive IgG antibody response to the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein.

Conclusions: HIV patients on ART mounted a strong humoral immune response following two doses ofCOVID-19 vaccines commonly used in India. Despite a small sample size and lack of neutralizing antibody testing, the study offers important data on vaccine response in this underrepresented population.
